Stain Removal Tips and Tricks for Dads

Sometimes dads can feel like a deer in the headlights when they are on duty and their little ones get their clothes dirty. When it comes to our children, stains appear out of nowhere, whether it’s playing outside or enjoying a messy plate of their favourite food. OMO has the answer for you, dads.

Time is of the Essence

It is important to act quickly and not let the stain set and seep deep into the garment’s fibre’s. Simply hand-wash the stain as soon as it happens with OMO’s fast acting, deep penetrating Hand Washing Powder. Alternatively let it soak in salt water if your hands are too full at the moment. The salt water will slowly break down the stain as it tries to cling to the garment’s fibres. It’s all about acting quickly!

Avoid Heat

Heat is universally known to cook whatever it comes into contact with, and the same applies to stains - from food stains to dirt and even blood stains. In the case of food stains, warm or hot water will cook the proteins and allows the stain to cling to the threads of your little ones’ clothes. So save yourself the headache, and soak your clothes in cold water.
