Using the correct dosage for your detergent helps you get the best results from your washing. Learn more

To get the best results from your washing it is important to the use the detergent correctly and add the right amount:

  • Using too little detergent can cause poor cleaning results, and dirt or hard water deposits may build up in your machine

  • Using too much is uneconomical and increases the risks of poor rinsing of clothes and over sudsing/foaming in front loaders.

Both how dirty your washing is, and the hardness of the water in your area, and can determine the amount of detergent you need to use.

Dosing for Top Loaders

Powders: Add the powder either to the machine bowl or down the centre of the agitator for most standard washing machines. Then add the clothes. Liquids: Measure using the cap and then pour either into the machine bowl or down the centre of the agitator for most standard washing machines. Then add the clothes. Tip:  In top loaders do not put powder or liquid on top of clothes.

Dosing for Front Loaders & High Efficiency

Powders: Add the powder to the dispensing drawer, put the clothes in the machine and start the machine. Liquids: Pour into the dispensing drawer, put the clothes in the machine and start the machine.
